Effective immediately, Scotty Harrell, past President and co-founder of Albemarle Boats in Edenton, NC, joins Jarrett Bay Yacht Sales (JBYS) as a Sales Consultant. In announcing the appointment, JBYS Chairman Randy Ramsey said, "Scotty's all-encompassing sales and leadership experiences will be a keystone to solidifying JBYS' position as the premier sales force in the mid-Atlantic and beyond. His tremendous knowledge, dedication and passion will inspire our sales team and customers alike. We are all very fortunate to have him join the JBYS family."

Under his direction, Albemarle Boats grew to become a builder of world-class production sportfishing boats-which attracted the interest of and acquisition by Brunswick Corporation in 2005. Harrell left Albemarle in 2007 to pursue other interests, but his zeal for boats brought him back. "I missed the marine trade and spending time on the front-line with customers," says Harrell.
