Just wanted to take a moment to congratulate "Team Albemarle" for some great North Carolina fishing moments in 2009.
Starting with the Hatteras Marlin Club Tournament, Albemarle general manager Burch Perry and new owner, Scott McLaughlin, captured third place with two blue marlin released. Congrats to the entire crew.
In the Big Rock, a junior angler on a 41 Albemarle Express Hoos Ya Daddy, released two blue marlins. Congrats to owner Phillip David and his 14 year old son.
In July, new 36 express owner Randy Hoft, on his first trip, caught and released a blue marlin in the first 30 minutes of fishing! The crew went on to release a sailfish. Pretty work!
I am sure there are other great Albemarle stories, but that is what I know for now.
