Gregory Poole Marine recently opened their newest service facility at coastal North Carolina’s Southport Marina. Located near the mouth of the Cape Fear River, between Mile Markers 309 and 310 at ICW Marker 2A, this convenient central location is ideal for both locals and those away from homeports seeking a brief stay, long-term storage, major repairs or simple maintenance.

In addition to being an authorized service provider for Caterpillar, Mercury, Mercruiser, Crusader, Yamaha, Honda, Volkswagen and others, the Gregory Poole Marine Service Center at Southport Marina offers a wide array of capabilities for vessels from 20’ to 70’. We are committed to providing Southport-area mariners and transients alike with world-class customer service."

Services offered include, but are not limited to: 75-Ton Travel Lift & Fork Lift Haul-Outs, Fiberglass Repair, Outboard/Stern Drive Service, Diesel Engine Service, Machine Shop Services, Prop Repair, Interior/Exterior Detailing, Exterior Refinishing, Boat Systems Repair, Extensive Parts Inventory.

The Southport location brings GPMP’s service center location total to five, including two others in the Wilmington, NC area at the Wilmington Marine Center and Starling Marine at Bradley Creek Marina. Their Beaufort headquarters at the Jarrett Bay Marine Industrial Park and Wanchese facility in the Seafood Industrial Park complete their state-wide coverage for any service need you may have.

The return of marine service and repair to Southport Marina is part of the facility’s multi-million dollar make-over, with major improvements to the boatyard including: new concrete throughout the yard, new electric and water service, new closed-loop pressure wash system, new haul out basin docks, and a complete overhaul of the 75-ton Travel Lift.
